five years I lived next to his father by the author, in a vegetative state from 2003 to 2008, become a witness in this book, designed to "show" to the outside world as a person lives in such critical conditions. But the witness, work in progress, has become the story. The lanes and hospital rooms, objects and rules of life in a clinic, the enigmatic presence of the doctors are the background to attempt to relate the child's father, has become a different person and "shredding", and defend itself from a reality that threatens to overwhelm everything. At a first moment of hope followed by the disillusionment of life and the days are always the same hospital.
