How and where did you spend your summer vacation?
This summer, like every year, I spent a short holiday in the province of Taranto, the city where I was born ... the city that was the most important part of Magna Grecia, the "City of the Two Seas", Beer Raffo, by definition, the "beer of Taranto, and shellfish (mussels famous).
However, despite the ancient splendor Taranto is sadly (and above) known to be one of the most polluted cities in Western Europe because of the toxins emitted by the industries of its territory, the first of Ilva, and for the most serious financial difficulties (March 2007) of a Italian local authorities never took place, with a debt of € 637 million, second in the world only to that of Seattle.
However, for me ... Taranto is a beautiful city to be discovered and offers many opportunities for designers to spend a nice holiday in Puglia, very popular tourist destination this year.
There must be a reason?
