I designed the cover of this book. It's called The geniuses Sunday and is published by The New Frontier . Here are the details:
is December 31, Ludo is in office, he's bored and wants to drink, he stops writing and preparing an appeal which was a great cry, shrill, deafening. One hundred skulls, mostly bald, turn to him and, just as they are accustomed to unusual things, they return immediately to set their own desks. Ludo tears up the application and write his resignation. The leader tries to dissuade him but subtle reasoning with Ludo, that evening, left the large firm where he sweated and yawned for three years and is thrown headlong into life, with the echo of that cry that will accompany him forever.
Julio Ramón Ribeyro (Lima, 1929-1994) was a writer and so talented. A contemporary of García Márquez, Cortázar and Vargas Llosa, Ribeyro is considered one of the pillars of Latin American urban realism. Among his works is worth remembering, as well as several collections of short stories, novels Chronicle of San Gabriel , The geniuses on Sunday and Cambio de guard, articles and essays on literature, including Prosas apátridas , plays, a collection of aphorisms, de dichos Luder, and his diaries, The Tentacion of Fracaso .
